We are constantly on the look-out for new development opportunities, and welcome approaches from owners who think their land/property may have development potential. We have, in the past, been successful in obtaining planning permission to develop a variety of different properties, such as former school buildings, hospitals, farm buildings, mills, etc as well as existing residential properties including single houses with good sized gardens.
A phone call is all that is needed to start the process and we will, without obligation, give an initial opinion on a potential opportunity, usually within a few days.
If we believe that the opportunity does indeed have potential, we will (with the owner’s permission) speak to the local planning authority and draw-up a draft development proposal which will enable us to formulate an offer.
Once an offer is agreed, we will enter into a contract with the owner, conditional on our obtaining satisfactory planning permission, and then we will submit a detailed planning application for consideration by the Council. Completion of our purchase will take place within an agreed number of days of planning permission being received.
